Position: Security Engineer
Location: Torrance, California, United States
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 2008-06-17
Position Description:
• The Sr Sec Engineer will be the primary tech lead. Duties include, but not limited to: Configure the common elements of the NAC Appliance solution;
• Configure Active Directory Single Sign-On;
• Configure VPN Single Sign-On using an ASA/PIX;
• Configure the NAC Appliance in-band or out-of-band implementation options;
• Implement the NAM & NAS High Availability to protect against downtime;
• Configure Network Scanning to audit clients & clientless hosts;
• Configure IronPort mail security appliance;
• Train Sec Engineer to provide support for tech analysis, modification, testing, & servicing for network systems, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Cisco NAC/MARS, IronPort, routers & switches;
• Responsible for conducting analysis & prepare reports & will assist in the recommendation for improvements & the development of tech standards assoc w/the customers systems;
• Act as the SME on network & sec related systems;
• Monitor, maintain, & troubleshoot sec systems;
• Provide Tier 3 sec & incident support to the svc desk;
• Assist the customer in maintaining their Host Security Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Strategy for Non-Responsive Hosts, Backup Strategy, Remediation Strategies, & Logging;
• Review existing design documentation, as well as coordinate & support documentation of detailed configuration tasks including the on-going operational usage of NAC & MARS;
• Lead the efforts for monitor, maintaining & troubleshooting the various sec systems, including: Network Access Control, Cisco MARS, VPN, and intrusion prevention & detection solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Position Requirements (Wish list):
EAD or Green Card or US Citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in related field; Computer Science, Information Systems, Business;
• Minimum 5-yrs general experience as in information security specialist (consultant, network engineer);
• Experience w/deploying Cisco security technologies such as Cisco ASA/PIX; Experience w/Cisco security & identity management tools: NAC, MARS, CSA;
• Experience w/IronPort mail security appliance;
• Experience in developing standards-based information security programs (ISO-27001, NIST, etc.);
• Experience working w/security operations teams;
• Experience training & lead a technical team of network engineers;
• Project management experience;
• CISSP certification;
• Cisco network and/or security certifications: CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP.
• 5+ years of security consulting or audit experience;
• CISM or CISA certifications;
• Experience w/implementing security controls to achieve HIPAA compliance;
• HIPAA security-related certifications: CHSS or CSCS.
